About Us
In 2023, Anushree and Jayati, who were public programmes coordinators at MAP launched Pulse as an online journal that could provide a platform for collaboration and independent expression. Designed for young adults, Pulse invites contributors to explore the intersection of art and culture, encouraging creative dialogue and exchange by responding to emerging perspectives. Each quarterly volume of the journal centers a specific theme and features various mediums of creative work. Submissions are curated and edited by the journal’s Editorial Panel and MAP’s Public Programme Coordinators. Pulse’s first volume was made possible by the generous support of the British Council's Our Shared Cultural Heritage (OSCH) grant, taken forward by the OSCH Collective.

Pulse came into fruition as part of MAP’s Youth Engagement initiatives which aim to foster learning in 18-25 year olds through the arts by creating opportunities for participation, learning, and self-expression. Stay updated on the MAP events page to join Reader’s Bloc sessions, community check-ins, Tuesday Tidbits, and other exciting programmes!
