UNBECOMING
Shivani is an art person and design student. She draws, writes, and makes zines to let out a piece of her brain and what goes inside it. She loves observing things around her, capturing notes on life and about life.
Artist Note
I've always identified as a work-in-progress, as labelling myself with a specific profession seemed like an overwhelming tag. Unbecoming is an acknowledgement of the person I've evolved into —a checkpoint in my journey navigating life as a young adult, trying to preserve the inner child often lost in the hustle and bustle of adulthood. It's my way of recognizing that, despite the awareness of the long road ahead, appreciating how far I've come is just as important.
